First to the Wall

You have got such a cute face, you know, not many people can put on weight as well as you, its just so evenly distributed, you know? Oh, it's just adorable that you decided to give up a career and pursue your art, I mean, just from the lines on your face I can see the kind of sacrifices that you had to make. Other people may say that its foolish, but I wouldn’t expect anything else.

What? Oh, your clothes, of course, they’re very artistic, I think its great that you don’t care about style or outward appearance at all. No, no, I’m not saying that, this distressed ascetic is good, it really fits you.

You got a new couch, good for you, where did you get it? Oh? No, its nothing, it’s just they’re cheap, don’t you think? It will fall apart right under you, but I’m sure you'll love it; you love those cheap little trinkets. . . it’s why you have no money, you know, you don’t buy things to last. You’re so crazy; it’s so great that you can live like that.

You submitted your work, that’s great, where did you send it? Oh. Don’t you think that’s aiming a little high? You’re not worried that you will embarrass yourself? It’s just your work is a little rough right now and first impressions are so important. No, no, I’m sure it will be fine, the least of your worries, anyway.

You seem really nervous, are you feeling stressed? You know, it’s probably all the fatty foods you eat.
