Saturday

I honestly can't really tell you anything about this other than it's for a book cover. I can't say the project it's for nor the models name. Sorry to be so mysterious! I'll say something when I can.

Jared Axelrod made the prop for this shoot. I can say that. Way to go, Jared Axelrod!

POW!

Sample One

A sample from last night's shoot. Only about five more to edit from this one, though personally, I think I might end up liking this one best anyway.

This may end up on the cover of a book - we'll have to see what the author says. I really like doing book covers, but I don't think I'm ever going to put myself on the cover again - that was a great experience, no doubt, but managing all the elements of what needs to go into a cover while being the model isn't easy. A great experience, sure, but not an easy one. It's much less stressful to work with a fantastic model (see above) and get exactly what I want in fewer shots.

More book cover work to come!

From a test shoot for a book cover for a project that's due to be released this year.

Thanks to Tim and Jennifer Rodgers for the lighting assist!

Thank you to Rae for modeling. She really understood the character that I was going for from minute one, which was fantastic. I love her facial expressions for this shoot.
