The truth is, if my only goal was getting used to my lighting rig, I could have taken pictures of a chair, or a bowl of fruit, or a vase of flowers. I did not have to ask a dozen ladies to come over my house to shoot some photos. I did not have to ask my friends to bring wigs, or costumes, and I certainty did not have to provide wine.
However, doing all those things made testing out my lighting rig a lot more fun.
No offense to any bowls of fruit out there.
